Q What is The Hole In Wand?

The Hole in Wand is home to the world's most magical mini golf courses!  Themed around a magical world, there are nine mysterious holes around the course.

Q Where is The Hole In Wand?

The Hole In Wand Blackpool is located on the central promenade next to Blackpool Tower, opposite the Visitor Information Centre.

Q How can I book?

You can book at theholeinwand.com/blackpool/book, if you have a special request email blackpool@theholeinwand.com for further information.

Q How many people can play together?

There is a maximum of 6 Wizards per group. This is to allow an enjoyable experience for other players and preven the course getting congested. We can't just squeeze an extra person on and will not allow you to play with a group over 6 Wizards.

There are no exceptions to this rule and this number includes any under 3’s accompanying your group. Non paying players over 3 are not allowed to accompany the group unless a carer and can wait in our café area if capacity allows with a Wizard who is over 16.

Q How long will it take?

In the busiest an average Wizard golf experience will last around around 45 minutes for 2 players and an hour and 15 minutes for 6 players. This includes time to get in to the venue (usually 15 minutes) and play the 9 holes.

At weekends and during school holidays you may have a longer wait to get in to the venue and we will always endeavour to get you in as quickly as possible.  We appreciate your patience in advance.

Q Can children play?

Minimum age to play is 3, but under 3’s accompanying the group have to be booked in for free.

Children under 11 must be accompanied in their playing group by someone over 11.

Q Can we just turn up and play?

It is always best to pre book and you can do that at any time, but if capacity allows you can just turn up and play.

Q Is there disabled access?

We will be fully accesible for wheelchair users into the venue, some holes will not be fully accesible for those with access needs. We do have an accesible toilet.

Q Can we eat at the venue?

We have our Hole In Wand Tavern with hot snacks and drinks including alcoholic drink options for over 18’s, we have limited seatinh on a first come first served basis.

Q What happens if we miss our booked slot?

You have an allocated pre booked slot and we allow 15 minutes around that slot for you to start, if you are running late we will do our best to accommodate you, but nothing is guaranteed and you may have to wait for an available tee time. If you miss the day of your slot all together, I am afraid there are no refunds.

Q Can we book a birthday party or event at The Hole In Wand?

Yes, we can cater for birthdays but don’t offer a birthday party package but happy to assist with any enquiry, event and full venue hire.

Q Will there be a refund if we are asked to leave?

No, if you are asked to leave for anti-social behaviour or not respecting our venue there will be no refund available and the duty managers decision is final.

Q Is there any storage for bags and shopping?

As with most attractions there is no storage area and for safety reasons bags can not be left unattended.

You can leave buggies at the entrance to the venue at your own risk.

Q Do I need to wear a face covering?

Face coverings are optional for guests and our Wizards.

Q Do you offer any discounts?

We already offer magical value, so unfortunately we don't offer discount.

Q Can I reserve a table in the Tavern?

Table are first come, first served in our Tavern.

Q What if I need to move or cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking for a full refund or move your booking up to 5 days before your booking, you can move your booking up to 48 hours before. There are no refunds or booking changes within 48 hours of your booking. To change a booking please email blackpool@theholeinwand.com or visit theholeinwand.com/blackpool/change-booking Bookings can not be changed by phone. You can only move your booking once so please make sure you get the right date you wish to move to. Once the booking has been moved no refunds will be given.

Q COVID-19 & bookings?

If you have to delay your booking because of COVID-19, we are happy to rebook you in for another day. If notified less than 48 hours before your booking, we will do our best to move your booking, but this depends on availability and nothing is guaranteed.

The refunds and cancellations policy applies to bookings affected by COVID-19.

Q Do you sell gift cards?

You can purchase gift cards from thepotionscauldron.com/gift-cards. These can be used at The Hole In Wand.

Q Do you allow dogs on the course?

We do not allow dogs around the course unless they are service dogs. Well behaved dogs are allowed in the Tavern at the discretion of the Chief Wizard.

Q I have left something at The Hole In Wand?

If you think you have left an item, please call us on 01253 806255 or email blackpool@theholeinwand.com and we will get the Wizards searching the venue.
