This February half term, magic rises across The Hole In Wand as The Rise of the Unicorn arrives from 14 February to 1 March 2026.

Every 900 years, a rare cosmic event known as The Celestial Convergence takes place the moment when unicorn magic is at its most powerful. Under the Moon’s silver light, unicorns gather to renew their enchanted essence, sending waves of celestial energy back into the world to ensure wonder continues for another 900 years.

During this extraordinary time, guests at The Hole In Wand are invited to step into the story and use Unicorn Magic to aid their Wizard Golf quest. As you take on nine magical holes, you’ll search for hidden unicorn horns, unlock enchanted boosts and see how much magic you can harness to improve your final score.

Legend says anyone who witnesses the Convergence is left with a spark of unicorn magic and this February, that legend comes to life inside every Hole In Wand location.

Running 14 February to 1 March 2026, The Rise of the Unicorn is the perfect half-term adventure for families, wizards and magical explorers of all ages.

We’re excited to welcome Scaly Safari to The Hole In Wand Blackpool on four special dates this year. Scaly Safari bring incredible live animal experiences, giving visitors the chance to get up close to fascinating reptiles and creatures from around the world in a fun, relaxed setting. From colourful lizards to impressive snakes, it’s a brilliant way to add something extra to your day out.

Led by an esteemed Potion Master of The Wizard’s Guild, you will learn the secrets of legendary alchemist and wizard, Phileas Fry. Cast spells, chant magical incantations and prepare a potion as you follow in the footsteps of the Witch Supreme.
 
And who knows? With the appearance of our Potions Room, there could be trouble afoot. Will you help restore order to Blackpool’s magical community?
