Dark magic has escaped into The Hole In Wand… and the villains are on the loose!
From 25th October to 2nd November, we need brave witches and wizards to join us for a magical round of golf and help increase the Power of Good to defeat the escaped villains! Every putt counts in the battle to restore balance to the wizarding world.
But beware — each day, our enchanted staff will have been cursed by the villains, and only your magic and skill can help break the spell!
As a token of your bravery, every visitor will receive one of five exclusive collectable Villain Cards — can you collect them all before the villains return?
And for the bravest of adventurers… the Villains themselves will appear on Halloween 👻 — ready to challenge anyone daring enough to face them!

Villains Unleashed is a magical Halloween event at The Hole In Wand, running from 25th October to 2nd November. During this time, the villains have escaped, and we need your help to increase the Power of Good by playing a round of golf and helping defeat their curses!
The event runs from 25th October to 2nd November. You can visit on any day during that time to join in the magical fun.
Not at all! Villains Unleashed is designed to be fun and family-friendly, with a sprinkle of Halloween magic.
The only day that might be a little more spooky is Halloween (31st October) when the villains make an appearance, but don’t worry, they’re more mischievous than scary!
Play a round of enchanted golf, help lift the curses placed on our staff, and collect one of five exclusive Villain Cards to take home. Each visit brings you closer to helping restore the Power of Good!
Every visitor will receive one of five limited-edition Villain Cards during their visit. Try to collect all five from The Hole In Wand Locations York, Blackpool, Chester, Dalton Park and Leeds.
The villains will make a special appearance on Halloween (31st October). Only one Villain will be visiting each site. It’s the perfect day to see them in person, test your courage, and maybe even outsmart them with your best putting skills!
