There is a maximum of 6 Wizards per group. This is to allow an enjoyable experience for other players and prevent the course from becoming congested. Unfortunately, we are unable to add an extra person and cannot allow you to play with a group of more than 6 Wizards.
Sadly, there are no exceptions to this rule, and this number includes any children under 3 accompanying your group. Non-paying players over 3 are not allowed to accompany the group unless they are a carer and can wait in our café area, if capacity allows, with a Wizard who is over 16.
We don't mean to be a grumpy wizard; we want everyone to enjoy the experience!
On average, a Wizard golf experience lasts around 45 minutes for 2 players and up to 1 hour for 6 players. This includes time to get into the venue (usually 15 minutes) and play the 9 holes.
At weekends and during school holidays, you may experience a longer wait to get into the venue. We will always endeavour to get you in as quickly as possible and at your booked time slot.

The minimum age to play is 3, but under-3s accompanying the group must be booked in for free.
Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by someone over 16 in their playing group.
We recommend pre-booking whenever possible, especially on weekends and holidays, to ensure the time you would like to play.
We do, however, always welcome players if we have space, and payment can be made at the door.
There are flashing lights at our photo ops. Please get in touch with a member of our team if you have any concerns.
Some holes are smaller than others, and those who feel anxious about playing in smaller spaces are welcome to view them before playing.
Due to the building's structure and the nature of the course, individuals with access needs, particularly wheelchair users, may not be able to enjoy the experience and access the majority of holes fully. Therefore, entry will be given for free to those who can't play; you are welcome to sit in the Tavern and wait for the rest of your party.
We have our Hole In Wand Tavern serving drinks, including alcoholic drink options for over-18s. We have minimal seating provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those who pre-book have an allocated time slot, and we allow 15 minutes around your bookings for you to start. If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate you; however, please note that no guarantees are made, and you may have to wait a short while for the next available tee time.
If you miss your scheduled day altogether, I am afraid there are no refunds. However, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate you at a later date.
Yes, we can cater to birthdays and large groups, but we don’t currently offer a birthday party package. However, we are happy to assist with any enquiry, event and full venue hire.
No, suppose you are asked to leave due to anti-social behaviour or not respecting our venue and fellow wizards. In that case, no refund will be available, and the duty manager's decision is final.
The Grand Supreme Wizard will be forced to cast their banishing spell.
Unfortunately, as with most attractions, there is no storage area, and for safety reasons, bags can not be left unattended.
You can leave buggies at the entrance to the venue at your own risk.
We already offer great value, so unfortunately, we don't offer discounts. However, we do have value packages for groups of 4, 5, or 6 Wizards. Remember that every player gets to take home a magical potion worth £3.29.
Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis in our Tavern; however, if you have a special occasion, please send us an email and we will do our best to accommodate you.
You can cancel your booking for a full refund or reschedule it up to 5 days before your scheduled departure. You can reschedule your booking up to 48 hours in advance. There are no refunds or booking changes within 48 hours of your booking. To change a booking, please email leeds@theholeinwand.com or visit find my booking.
Bookings can not be changed by phone. You can only move your booking once, so please ensure you select the correct date you wish to move to. Once the booking has been moved, no refunds will be given

We do not permit dogs on the course unless they are service animals. Well-behaved dogs are allowed in the Tavern at the discretion of the Chief Wizard, and we even have a dog bowl and treats!
