This summer, York stands united beneath the banner of House Serpent. Every round played, challenge completed and display of house pride will help House Serpent battle for glory in The House Cup.

Throughout the summer, The Hole In Wand York will be transformed in honour of House Serpent with themed décor, house colours and magical surprises.

Every round you play this summer counts. Each site is tracking the lowest score of the week, and if that's you, your name and score go up on the chalkboard for everyone to see.
Here's how it works:
🏌️ Play any day during the week at any Hole In Wand location.
⛳ Post your site's lowest score of the week, and you're crowned that site's weekly champion, with your name chalked up in style.
🎁 Win that week's prize. This week it's a £50 gift card to spend with us. Every week brings something new.
WEEK 2'S WINNERS ARE: Gavin in York, Jack in Chester, Rick in Blackpool, Arlo in Dalton Park and Nacho in Leeds!
🏆 Lowest score across all sites that week? That location scoops 100 points towards the House Cup, and you're entered into the Magical Master Draw.
✨ Seven weeks, one big draw. At the end of the summer, one Master Draw winner takes home an overnight stay for two at any of our locations.
And it all builds towards one thing: the site with the most points wins the House Cup.

The Hole in Wand is just 10 10-minute walk from York Train Station, where you will also find our magical station shop 'The Potions Express' located in the Kiosk under the stairs between platforms 5-8.

Sessions run throughout the day with timed slots book in advance to guarantee your preferred time, especially at weekends.
